Signum’s ‘What Ya Got 4 Me’ was released on the neatly titled Tidy Trax label. While it ain’t no Art Of Trance’s ‘Madagascar’, Sasha’s ‘Xpander’ or ATB’s ‘9pm (Til I Come)’ it has some fine moments especially when the squelchy synths approximate a whirlwind in the rousing finale. The early female vocal is a tad dry and the beat is all too familiar yet somehow about 210 seconds in this tune finds its feet and in the process breaches the walls that would normally filter its ilk from your ears. So much for indie schmindie there ain’t nothing like a electro workout like this to clear out your cupboard. KD
