Cull are a new band from Sydney with plenty of reverb on their minds. They are releasing their debut EP ‘BÃ ná»™i’ very soon and ‘World Inside Your Head’ is the first offspring. Now you may be thinking MBV such is the chord drag and woozy dynamics but Cull have loaded much of the fun within easy reach so while it is still slightly inaccessible the thicket has been greatly thinned to ensure easier access to the slipstream. A bit more like Ride (and often the Boo Radleys too) you could say and it comes as no surprise to see that Oxford quartet loaded into Cull’s list of influences. No dreams burned down then, just an illuminating new vapour trail. KD

Love it! That cascading bassline is the icing on the cake.
The more I listen the more I hear the Boo Radleys, even the vocals are Sice like. The start is a bit like ‘Lazarus’…in other words…pure genius!
