Presenting a band in its first flush of youth so it is hardly surprising that their debut single is a loose collection of rolling brightness. Made up of a New Yorker and 3 others from Los Angeles Flower Jacket prove what they are about with a gorgeous sense of spontaneity called ‘Everybody Knows’. The song points to lots of influences both new and old but it is more than capable of achieving standalone kudos such is the skill and craft in this acts armoury. It might be brrrrr outside but Flower Jacket have already given us an anthem for much warmer climes. KD

Pleasant and Provocative with a dash of furor. I found myself listening to something that is neither laud or boring but perfectly balance. Bringing the level of enjoyment flush with an ambience of happiness in an otherwise calmly executed melody; where vocals, and music come into perfect convergence, with minimum effort from the artists performing the number…Well done Michael, I expect to see and hear more from Flower Jacket….
