There is a Travis (remember them!) influence alright, those jangling chords amid a much more blustery exterior. Jon Fickes vocals are light, airy and indie boy hero like so all that was left was a giant chorus to sweep us off our feet completely. And on that score there was nothing to worry about because this is widescreen life affirming.
