Damn The Lion – You Don't Love Me Like You Used To

I came across this song (getecho) and it is so perfectly suited to a crisp and chilly summer morning (it’s Ireland after all) that it seemed appropriate just now. ‘You Don’t Love Me Like You Used To’ is minimalistic but affecting all the same. It’s no surprise that its makers are Swedish considering how that country has overhauled Canada (where are you?) in the bright new bands department. The acoustics throw up a cute riff and the sentiments are a steady opposite to the Rocketship post of earlier in the week. This is taken from a demo put out in December of last year and the ‘1994’ EP has followed in its wake. With a new website up and running and the blogosphere slowly starting to take notice it looks like it could a busy year for lead man Martin Sorensson and his friends. KD
