Brian Cullen's Love Bullets – Hands Up if you hate Dick Jones

Well, you’ve come to the right place as the 3-piece Dublin band Brian Cullen’s Love Bullets belch plumes of noise that’d have Thurston himself (or Mr Shields) smiling with pride. While so many bands who try to evoke this spirit just slink behind a wall of scuzzy noise BCLB’s also see fit to include a toe tapping tune. In the case of ‘Hands Up If You Hate Dick Jones’ your grandma may have already run for the hills before the true song emerges but don’t let that put you off. It is taken from the bands debut EP ‘Ask For Directions’ which came out in August of last year. The follow up ‘Bring Out Your Dead’ is due in March, which will hopefully build on their brand of sweet aural carnage. KD
