The Stranglers – Always The Sun

The line up may have changed a bit since they formed in 1974 but the Stranglers continue to release records, the 17th of which ‘Suite XVI’ came out 2 years ago. In fact the band have the distinction of having hits in 4 different decades. ‘Always The Sun’ was released way back in 1986 but it retains a polished sound, records this great rarely age. Initially the band were lumped in with the punk movement but their songs often belied this fact.
