See A Sunny Day in Glasgow in Dublin For Free (huh?)

Few acts can rival A Sunny Day In Glasgow in the wonderfully obscure department (Xiu Xiu and the Fiery Furnaces excepted). To confuse matters further they decided to call their first album ‘Scribble Mural Comic Journal’, just trip offs the tongue doesn’t it. They are not Scottish so at the very least we should be able to understand them as they engage in banter at their Dublin show next month. Don’t be looking for incisive comment in their lyrics mind, the Philadelphia crew’s noise bursts are without fail shorn of decipherable wordage. Sound like a good night out? Thought so. To celebrate we have 3 double passes to their Whelans gig on Wednesday 30th July (Foggy Notions curated). All you got to do to be in with a chance of winning is to email us with the name of your favourite experimental band. Answers containing the word Aslan will be automatically barred from the competition.

Update: Congrats to Robyn, Laura and Patrick who all won a +1 to the gig! KD
