High Highs – Horses

A band with seemingly no lows so far, but then High Highs are still in their infancy. Canny boys too because they’ve seeped all of their stuff to date online for nada. Seems that word is spreading and although ‘Horses’ doesn’t quite match the gilded presence of ‘Flower Bloom’ or ‘Open Season’ it is still a mighty fine proposition. Should stand them in good stead for their SXSW appearance later this month. While we haven’t got much more detail on the band since their last appearance here we can now categorically set the record straight and bow to their genuine Aussieness as opposed to their aforementioned Brooklyn cool (where they are based).
