The word Epitonic might not mean a whole lot for new kids on the online block but for seasoned campaigners like ourselves it remains the touchstone for new music discoveries. The site went through a barren spell for several years but they’ve come back recently fitter, stronger but with their keen eye on finding the best new music absolutely intact. They’re also decent chaps because they’ve allowed mp3hugger post this demo from the Wrens upcoming album (‘Funeral’?). And it is purely belter, as heartfelt as anything on ‘the Meadowlands’ (you should know how special that was) with grand rolling harmonies aplenty. ‘As I’ve Known’ will be part 2 of a two-part song so I’d imagine things could go stratospheric when the finished recording appears before too long.
