If I didn’t know better I’d have said this was Stereolab such was the motorik to ‘Staying Alive’. Of course once those vocals kicked it was clear we were in Swedish rather than French territory and there was even a hint of the Radio Dept. to the whole procedure that really had me back to those peak Labrador Records years. Not sure how this cherishable duo keep doing it but ‘Staying Alive’ is just another example of Club 8’s voracious hit ratio. KH
