Must admit to liking the subtlety that the Moat bring to proceedings on their ‘Beach Cars’ here. It might on the face of it sound laidback but in the nooks and crannies lays the beating heart of a fab song. The sort that indie pop aficionados like ourselves find particularly magnetic because the thrills don’t come cheaply, you’ve got to look under the hood which grants a longevity that means return visits are equally as rewarding.
