Sonny Falls – Cemeteries

Has the sound of an indie pop track alright, in fact it was the Apples in Stereo that popped into my head first and foremost. That lo-fi quality but with the melodies there and in some numbers. ‘Cemeteries’ has a lovely drift as a result, the kind that will appeal to the hummers of the world because it has that kind of way about itself. A beating heart then to offer up fuel for our own so that come the end Sonny Falls has left us in a much better place than it has found us. That ‘Cemeteries ‘breaks out into complete rapture was a lovely surprise and sealed our loyalty to an act (Chicago’s Ryan “Hoagie” Wesley Ensley) who just do what we like our band’s to do. KH
