The sort of intrigue you’d expect from the likes of Jah Wobble or the Chemical Brothers so Band of Muses (LA’s Penny-Scarlett Muse and Daisy Rose Muse) were sure in good company in this mystical device of theirs. ‘Cinnamon’ soars in a dreamy fashion, like the hallucinogenic trip is available to all – even those of us who wouldn’t go within a mile of illegal intoxicants. A song for summer, for lounging but crucially Band of Muses take us on bass heavy trip that activates the dopamine to a degree that addiction appears inevitable. KH
