Billy Bonbon – Marguerite

So completely wild and 90’s Sugar (Bob Mould) induced I couldn’t help but dream of past glories. ‘Marguerite’ is a cocktail of raging chords and a singer who knows how to run with all that abrasiveness to gives us something melodic against all expectation. Given my vintage it came as some surprise that I did a little jig of delight, the one that is usually reserved for a classic Wedding Present classic or similar. A Paris three-piece who might just have rediscovered the past we’ve all been missing. KH
