Now that is a way to open proceedings, mood and ambience and no little dry ice though that might have come our own imagination. The neatest thing of course about ‘Grit’ is that Laura can sprinkle the words in a fashion that feels so emotive despite them appearing in a whisper like manner. So for me there is a surrendering of daily strife and in its place is all the restoration we care to contemplate in this softly dispatched opus. All things beautiful and nice and reminding of Public Service Broadcasting which is something to fill the heart even further. KH
