Martina and the Moons – Baby Turtle

There is twin volley of attractions on ‘Baby Turtle’ from this Dublin fourpiece and yes it does operate in a fashion that slowly but surely ebbs away at any reticence on our behalf. The first thing that is noticeable is the jangling chord that circles and circulates in such a romantic fashion as to anestheise any thoughts we might have had of abandoning Martina and the Moons. The sealer of course is a singer who has the ability to evoke the calm before the storm and ensure that the projected meteorological event is kept at bay into the bargain. Despite all that we were hopelessly swept away by the beauty of it all. KH
