There is a an appreciable degree of Stereolab to ‘Heard You Wrong’ but there is more besides so Dutch folk rock act plonki sound like their appeal could come from across the board. A little pop, traditional and that a sweep of electronic colouring gives this track a sense of wonder that is rare. ‘Heard You Wrong’ is headed up by Pleun Stork who can dip into melancholy before reaching for the stars a few seconds later. Tis’ the course of true love and this track showcases all the highs and lows along the way in vibrant detail. KH
