Omo Cloud – Ultimate Love

What a languid vocal that is, matched entirely by the chords and the first band that popped into my head was Catatonia (and in particular Cerys Matthews) and I had quite the thing for them back in the day. This one could have come from my fave album of theirs ‘Way Beyond Blue’ and it meant that ‘Ultimate Love’ pushed and cajoled us into a positive mind frame. Of course it helps that Omo Cloud bring with them a dreamy kind of munchkin land soundtrack too – there is something whimsical and magical amid all the romantic overtures here.
