Memory Motel – Apollo

I am one for a baggy delivered jangle and Sydney’s Memory Motel sure do supply one on ‘Apollo’. In fact so dreamy is their application they may well have taken in the broad star filled night sky before racing into the studio to capture that wide-eyed feeling. And it sounds like they are in generous mood in passing on the feeling to the rest of us. Of course it helps to have a chanteuse in Ruby Ward who adds even more allure to a composition that appears to levitate before unleashing the grand crescendo. KH
