In The Pines – Sunbeam Dream

Going by those early sequences it would seem like we were in for a bit of steamrolling for that is classic rock deployed with all the trimmings. I mean the guitar work feels like a instrument of war being flashed in our faces, reminding of celtic rock heroes Horslips. Thankfully Cincinnati’s In The Pines do step out of that Led Zeppelin stomp and that is down to a singer who has a more tempered approach. The combination is quite the one-two and it meant that ‘Sunbeam Dream’ went for classic rock reprise to psychedelic dream for contemporary times. Impressed I was. KH
