Dread Spectre Council – Where Would the Light Go

There is more than a classic take on indie rock going on here, quite reminded me of Superchunk and Number One Cup and it doesn’t get much better than both of them. So we get low-slung guitars and slacker vocals working in tandem to create an involving experience. It’s almost as if we are in the same room as Kenneth Amundsen of Oslo’s Dread Spectre Council and doesn’t he try to make the most of our close attention. Knew seconds in that this was a match for our stuck on the dial alt rock tendencies. KH
