Market East – Roses

What a near sedentary kind of affair, the kind that sounds all parts musical but is persuasive in its approach to a degree that ‘Roses’ feels like it has delivered the bouquet to convince us that slow dancing is the best approach. Philadelphia’s Market East are pulling from a classic folk rock palette here but it never sounds tired, in fact it has the sort of soul to wrestle us back into a romantic state of mind. I was taken by the extent of the realisation that this song has filled a big gap right now. KH
