One of those creeper songs, nothing remarkable at first but slowly ‘Lala La’ makes inroads to a point where we wondered how our days had managed without it. Qancu have a simmering plot line to work us into a state of romance that peaks at a chorus that feels like the dawn after the longest night. But this is more than comfort, this is enriching and makes like a piece of art to call upon when a guaranteed remedy for all the ills of the day is required. KH
