Such an electronic interface, a motorik roll that does have a rummage in the old Broadcast bag of tricks. So there is a little bit of off-kilter movement but that is counterbalanced by a vocal performance from Verity Susman that tells us we’re in pop territory of the alternative kind. In the end things went all Stereolab like, in a ‘Super Electric’ kind of way and that is certainly my fave era from that Anglo-Gallic combo. A song that slowly consumes our every thought, a tale of Canterbury goodness. KH
