The think with London’s Rainsong is that they just consistently get us back to a more familiar time in shoegaze, the My Bloody Valentine tangle of chords and a dreamy vocal atop so even new listeners to this most regal of genres aren’t left wondering where this new buzzing in the ears has come from. In short ‘Head in my Hands’ is that beautiful mash of feedback and melody and it takes some amount of craft to ensure it works. A mosaic of sound that has appeal far beyond the floppy fringed brigade. KH
