SeaDaisy – Got Hit/Got Cut

SeaDaisy sure have the alt 90’s bit between their teeth. You can tell from seconds as the chords rip through the peace of the day and extend to full on Pixies anthem territory thereafter. ‘Got Hit/Got Cut’ has more besides though, a singer (Caitlin Dacey) who has a degree of Agnetha out of ABBA about her. Makes for a completely vibrant mix of accessible melody and choppy guitar action. I hear an anthem roll into town with that ‘Debaser’ signature roll of thunder built in for free. The moshpit is about to come out of hibernation. KH
