From//October – Missing The Snow

There is a warmth to ‘Missing The Snow’, the kind that reminded me of Low for the most part and their ‘Christmas’ EP in particular. Dutch act From//October ensure things move along but never like it feels anyone is going to be left behind. It is the archetypal slowcore trick, but where ‘Missing The Snow’ distinguishes itself is in packing so much sweetness and light into just under 90 seconds of gentle glee.
