Simen Mitlid – It’s Okay

‘Vacation’ remains my favourite moment from Simen Mitlid, still return to it after all these years and it has put the Norwegian high in the affection stakes. ‘It’s Okay’ is just a lovely return to the fray too, a song full of romance of the sepia-tinged kind so tears and at the very least a sway in time is inevitable. A song for spring and renewal and getting on with things despite everything. A cherub of an indie pop tune. KH
