Devon Earth – Hands of Time

Makes for a slow acoustic drift at first before LA’s Devon Earth go all psychedelic rock on us like Brian Jonestown Massacre are in the building and making sweet music again. ‘Hands of Time’ has a lovely melodic core that is marked by Alyssa Gengos’ vocals which puts us at ease for the way that they mingle with the sense of twang happening all around. Summer time needs dreamy drifts like this, something to offer lift, a purity to rank alongside the midday sunshine. KH
