I felt like we were right back in the nineties thanks to Michael Kay Terence and Swiss Portrait and given that is the decade that I still call home in a music sense it meant that ‘Connection issues’ was right up our street. From the languid, low-slung slacker chords to the almost out of range vocals there was just a sense of dreamy Pale Saints like shoegaze and it did more than enough to have all sorts of rebellious thoughts enter my brain. So take that responsibility, for 3 minutes at the very least. KH
