There is a spine of chimingness right the way through ‘Eidolon’ and it feels like Paris based Peter Michel (Hibou) has the wind at his back. Of course it is a dream pop confection so while the track operates with propulsion it never feels like we are being steamrolled. If anything this could be the inspiration to get our heads back in them clouds, away from technology and daydreaming and to a healthier childhood level of wonder. This act sure do have the magic to have us dreaming alternate lifecycles and I love them for it. KH
