Late Guest at the Party – CIAO

The first thing you’d have to remark on is the big slabs of chords, they really do dominate the skyline on ‘CIAO’. Elsewhere there is a volley of actors at the microphone who bring their own bag of tricks to the arrangement. With so much vying for our attention you’d expect Late Guest at the Party to get overly busy but somehow they drawn all the disparate parts into an indie anthem that goes beyond novelty and into the realms of a keeper.
