South August – It’s Happening Again

Must say I do like the way London’s South August have the go of an act who are trying their best to keep their kooky side hidden as much as is possible but it just keeps appearing ‘It’s Happening Again’. And that is good news for the rest of us because there is an uncommon route to vocal intonation here that I found particularly novel. A song that might cause the hummers of the world a great deal of difficulty but when it comes to breaking new ground that is always a risk. The wild and uncouth whistling just adds to the zany but entirely wholesome drama. Love South August, like I love the Electric Soft Parade and Brakes before them. KH
