Boomvision – Ryu – mp3hugger

Felt to me as if we’d been drafted into the heat of an old arcade game so nostalgists will be all aglow with ‘Ryu’. This is a tune that can’t stand still for a minute, percussion as industrious as an ant colony and a singer atop who convey the secret of joy is within their grasp and want to fill the rest of us in. Boomvision are really trying something new on us here, experimental but wispy and musical to an extent that ‘Ryu’ feels entirely refreshing. KH
