Sure does bound into our life, boasting Stereolab like synths but a careering momentum that is hastened by a love for sixties harmonies. Italy’s Messiness do have the urge to take over, rather than take part though and I really like that about them. ‘Eternity Unbound’ makes for a rebellious affair as a result, forever marching forward with abandonment and led by a singer (Max Raffa) who might just have worn flowers in his hair as he latched onto those heavy duty harmonies. A song for champions, Blur fans circa their ‘Leisure’ celebrate. KH
