Lives Like Skyscrapers – Haven’t Got Time

Now that is a bard (Ryan Neeb) who has had his fare share of teary moments, you can tell as much on Ottawa band Lives Like Skyscrapers’s ‘Haven’t Got Time’. The tune showcases an individual capable of circumnavigating the bumps along the road but whom has earned that hard exterior. Said exterior is only skin deep to be honest, because the one thing that kept on coming back to me was the sheer wealth of emotional reasoning here. It is a rare piece of artistic melancholy that never amounts to mawkish. A beautiful heartbreaker. KH
