Sophia St. Helen – A Hundred Years

This is a singer who drops by now and then and every time she delivers depth, a folk ditty that sticks around long after we’ve reached the last note. And by my count ‘A Hundred Years’ marks the third time in 2025 that we’ve been left sobbing because of her presence. A talent to rank alongside Mary Middliefield, a chanteuse from the Bay Area with the ability to turn legs to jelly but more importantly get us back believing in the miracle of life and in this case what comes after it.
