Eliza Noxon – What Else

Reminded me of the Willowz’ ‘I Wonder’ such was the degree of minimalism and the cherubic vocals. Eliza Noxon moves beyond that comparison fairly early however as ‘What Else’ flexes its muscles and from somewhere becomes an anthem while still retaining a vulnerable and softly intonated vehicle. Likeable stuff and at times more than that, in fact ‘What Else’ has the wherewithal to whip us into a state of near frenzy. KH
