There is attitude being dished out here but in a form that feels like the full experience. Hull’s Brodie Milner has the invective and the vocabulary to evoke angst and rebellion in one. #Convenience Store Gospel’ is Franz Ferdinand in the instrumental breaks but the clear highlight comes from the volley of ideas borne out of the crushing reality of modern life. What sparks though is the delivery, which is razor sharp and worth numerous revisits. KH
