The jangle is so pronounced on ‘Tendencies’ I did feel transported back to a more innocent time, namely the glorious nineties. And A Day in Venice (Andrej Kralj) just extenuated that feeling with a singer who comes across all Dolores O’Riordan. Such a winning combination, the dream pop levity with an increasingly virulent instrumental section to send matters soaring towards the heavens. A must for nostalgists and those who just can’t move beyond indie music golden years. KH
