Darkstates – Sleeping Bones

Darkstates have (or rather has as it is one person) this knowing approach to rooting around at the internal entanglements that the rest of us ignore. It makes for music that consistently reminds me of Talk Talk and Elbow, in effect we are talking about a cerebral form of ambient pop. So ‘Sleeping Bones’ will appeal to mindful types as well as those searching long and hard for art with depth, going beyond the surface and helping make sense of the incomprehensible. The best bit is that Darkstates are adept at fashioning a great song into the bargain. KH
