Alanna Matty – January

Now we’ve broken the chains of the first month of the year it is rather nice to hear a bard from Nova Scotia remind us of what we’ve freed ourselves of. ‘January’ is of course a story of love rather than anything climate related but there is a study in how romance can go cold all the same. Alanna Matty produces the good with a shimmering design, not quite waltz filled but given a perfect full moon those who have survived breakup might be persuaded to dance in time with this genuinely hearted piece of romance.
