Hotel Leo – Mechanical

I heard a bit of Stranger Things at first but Hotel Leo have more besides the 80’s shtick and it comes in the chemistry between the two singers who offer a confessional that never descends into self pity. In fact there is a heart rending warts and all everything out on the table approach here that is most endearing. Wouldn’t be half as effective if the song wasn’t as good but this is soulful and emotional stuff with some lovely melodic turns. KH
