Mr. Husband – Is It Real?

The opening drums sounded beat for beat like Bloc Party’s ‘Banquet’ so Mr. Husband got us onside very quickly. That they were capable of turning on their heels and going country rock on us just illustrates the breath to Mr. Husband’s sound. No doubting that their ‘Is It Real?’ has an old timey charm but it takes genuine talent to offer up harmonies as sucrose as this. Summer time is here and this is an opportunity to drink it all in.
