There is a spiky manner to Wet World from the start and it is the kind of thing that indie rock has been missing for some time. So ‘Hokas’ is a good run at being agitated without losing ones sense of musicality. The funny thing is that the chorus here could be easily drafted into the pop domain with the guitar invention enough to keep us alt types on board as part of the deal. A brilliant post-summer bop. KH
