There is a particularly silly song but for the life of me I can’t but love it. It’s also the first band I can remember since Blur to come from Colchester. I say band but Snippet is really only the work of one man called Johnno Casson who sure is a fan of infantile song titles like ‘Angels With Dirty Laces’, ‘Slowly Slowly Catchee Monkey’ and my favourite ‘Lovely Ugly People’. Snippet has worked with our mate Knut’s Eardrumspop label so he has definite form and with ‘Man Without Mobile’ he has created a fun, melodic and clever little tune. KD
