The video has already entranced us and now the ultra mp3 friendly Sub Pop has released ‘Grown Ocean’ as a free download. Not sure how Fleet Foxes coil so much emotion inside a couple of minutes but this song has a transcendental quality that should have several generations awarding uniform praise. The other contenders for song of the year better shape up. KD
