Fotoshop – Too Little, Too Late

Can’t say I’ve heard that many acts offer up Sneaker Pimps (the long wheeze of Armand Van Helden remix of ‘Spin Spin Sugar’ still decorates our playlists) as an influence but Lapland laptop guru Jarno-Erik Faarinen does. In his capacity as Fotoshop the now Helsinki-based composer is on the cusp of releasing his debut album and by the epic sound of ‘Too Little, Too Late’ he could be well on his way to influencing others. There is a distinct robotic edge to his music, but one that comes from the future long after man has started calling them humanoids. This is big, glorious and an indelible marker for the treats that lay ahead. KD
