Lake – Oh, The Places We’ll Go
Lake are an indie pop collective from Washington that are not entirely consistent in their delivery of sonic jewels. That said it is nay on impossible to ignore them given their propensity for issuing odd delights like this, the title track, from their 2008 album ‘Oh, The Places We’ll Go’. This quirky natter over a cappuccino in a sidewalk cafe is purpose built to see-saw in line with the lolloping music. The couple in the piece are coolly attired and are impressing the attention of at least half of the patrons on the premises. Better this, than none at all. KD
